Flintside: On the Ground 2020
Flint and Genesee Chamber Foundation
Project support to the Genesee Chamber Foundation for Issue Media Group’s Flintside: On the Ground program to embed trained journalists in north Flint neighborhoods who will work in partnership with residents to develop weekly news coverage highlighting events and the work of local individuals, businesses, and nonprofits. The program will also provide training, equipment, and paid freelance opportunities for local residents to write their own stories.
