FLINT, Mich., April 16, 2019 – The Ruth Mott Foundation Board of Trustees has recently welcomed two new trustees, Kyle McCree and Marise Mott Meynet Stewart.

McCree, of Grand Blanc, currently serves as the Community Affairs Area Manager for Consumers Energy, where he is responsible for implementing advocacy, community development and employee engagement strategies in Genesee County.

In the community, McCree serves in various capacities with Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Genesee Health System, Flint Cultural Center, Rotary Club of Flint and the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce.

A native of Flint, McCree is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota and Flint Powers Catholic High School.

Stewart, of Massachusetts, is continuing the Mott family’s long tradition of philanthropy in the city of Flint. She is a granddaughter of the late C.S. and Ruth Rawlings Mott and the daughter of Ruth Mott Foundation Board Chair Maryanne Mott.

A proud mother of three, Stewart previously worked at Northeastern University as a counselor and served as a high school guidance counselor in Wellesley and Andover, Mass.

Stewart has served as a Charles Stewart Mott Foundation trustee since 2000 and is also co-president of the Board of Directors of the CS Fund & Warsh-Mott Legacy based in Freestone, Calif.

Stewart received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Skidmore College and a Master of Arts in school counseling from Northeastern University.
