Applewood is closed for the season and will reopen in May 2025.

Children and their caregivers are invited to explore the world around us through books and fun activities. Our stories celebrate the beauty of the natural world and ways to get involved in your community. Always free! No reservations required.

Storytime is usually held outdoors (weather permitting) near the historic barn, and a gate greeter will point you in the right direction. Bring a blanket or chair and sunscreen and come prepared for the elements.

We ask that groups of 10 or more interested in joining Storytime please contact us two weeks in advance. All stories are American Sign Language interpreted.

You can find recordings of past in-person Storytime at Applewood events on our YouTube channel. Visit our Virtual Programs to browse online Storytime events.
