First Children's Finance
Support to First Children’s Finance to convene a peer group of north Flint childcare providers. Facilitated by First Children’s staff, the cohort will meet monthly to engage in shared learning and discussion on a variety of industry-specific topics with a focus on small business operations and the systemic issues facing business owners who are female and/or people of color. Participants will develop an Individual Action Plan to address one or more of the ongoing needs or challenges facing their business with support from First Children’s staff members. Participants who successfully complete their Individual Action Plan will be eligible to apply for capital support in the form of forgivable and/or low-interest loans.
